Walking For Weight Loss

Most of us are aware of the great health benefits of walking, but most of us do not soon find a way to incorporate walking at least 15 minutes every two days to control our weight and keep the heart healthy.

As of today, no more excuses!

Even if you have to start with only 2 to 5 minutes a day, take one step at a time, build your strength and you will succeed in losing weight.

Here is a foolproof guide to walk the path to health, without having to spend money on one foot for weight loss DVD:

Step 1

Prepare your mind for change in your life. Make a realistic plan, using a journal to write down your goals every week, every day. Find out exactly when you walk – is that when you come home from work, after the kids are bathed and fed, and someone can see, the point is – everyone has a different living situation and home. Quit making excuses and tell yourself, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Step 2

Need training or walking shoes that fit well. The easiest way to abandon your routine is to walk in the shoes of misuse and suffering everything from painful blisters to fallen arches. This is really important, so get it right!

Step 3

Get medical clearance from your doctor if you need to start your walking program. During the first week, if you’re a little out of shape, start with 5-10 minutes fast walking 3 times a week so that you are not wasting your breath when speaking. If you can tell a group of 7 to 8 word sentence without losing your breath or having to pause in their talk, then you’re right!

Work slowly to a higher level of fitness so you do not lose interest. Eventually, the ultimate goal would be the speed of walking 45-60 minutes daily or every two days to maximize the impact of weight loss. I personally think walking 45 minutes 3 times a day perfect for me, I lost all my weight do this, and now I can eat almost anything and not gain weight while doing my routine of walking steadily

Apart from the obvious health benefits, walking for weight loss is an economical way to get fit when combined with a sensible diet plan. The time is now, believe in yourself, take one step at a time, and reach their goals on time.
