3. Buy a floss.

The problem is that most people are not doing it often when it could have been the one thing that could prevent dental caries and halitosis. A lot of people would rather use a mouthwash than any other dental product because it is very easy to use. All you have to do is gargle with it and you are all done. But using a mouth rinse is not enough and should not be seen as a replacement for regular brushing and flossing. However, it is effective in controlling the build up of bacteria, tartar, and plaque.

5. Use a throat lozenge.

You might think, what is a throat lozenge got to do with oral hygiene? Well, aside from the throat being located very near your mouth, if you have a healthy throat then you will have one less problem of having bad breath. A lozenge can help in fighting off the bacteria.

The ones stated here are just some of the most basic oral health products that we must all use daily. Of course there are other items that we can use and more are being invented almost every year, but the basics of using a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss still remains the same.
