Effective Ways of Getting Rid of Acne Scars

Luckily there are effective ways to deal and get rid of face acne scars for good. I visited my Dermatologist before I started using the product and he was talking about plastic surgery to reduce my acne scars. Now after 5 months of using the cream I just visited my dermatologist last week, he sends me home with the message that there was no need for me to have surgery. All acne scars are not the same. Therefore, you have to use different treatments to get away with different types of acne scars.

Third question, how deep are those acne scars? Is it true that the deeper they are, the less chance of improvement? My acne scars are less visible now and my skin has become much smoother and younger looking. I look forward to continued improvement with my next order of two more jars. We have also compiled a list of tips for treating acne scars at home.

There is no point in treating old acne scars if you are still getting breakouts of bad cysts which is what new scars usually come from. Assuming that your acne has come under control there are two types of acne scars that people get.

We also treat acne scars with the Fraxel SR1500 laser. This is a fractional laser as well, but it is an Erbium laser instead of CO2. First there is what is known as early acne scars. These are not scars in the true sense but an inflammation that remains for a time after a pimple is gone. Acne scars and pitted scars are treated using a Dermaroller with a great deal of success. With no need for harsh abrasiveness or expensive therapies, the micro-needles of the dermaroller gently encourage your acne scarring or pitted scarring to fill out and drastically reduce in appearance.

Unfortunately, many men and women don’t, and continue to battle with acne as an adult, in the form of acne scars. Over time, these physical scars can lead to emotional ones, forcing you to carry the baggage of your teen years around with you wherever you go.

For many years the only treatment options for acne scars were much too invasive and only minimally effective. Today with lasers like the Smoothbeam, Vbeam and Fraxel and dermal fillers such as Restylane and Radiesse, we have treatment options that require minimal or no downtime, and results that we only dreamed of years ago. My acne scars are disappearing right before my very eyes, and my skin in general just looks much brighter and clearer than it ever did before. I definitely plan on using this cream for a long, long time! Please read on ONLY if you are willing to commit a few minutes a day to prevent acne lesions and/or to dramatically improve the looks of existing acne scars.
